This page explains what personal data Antwerp Studio collects through this website, why, and what rights you have over it.
Who we are

What we collect, and why
Newsletter signup. If you subscribe via the pop-up on this site, we collect your email address. It is used only to send you occasional emails about new arrivals, restocks and studio updates. Legal basis: your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email.
Product enquiries. If you use the "Inquire" form on a product page, we collect your name, email address and message. It is used only to answer your question about that item. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and taking steps at your request before entering into a sale.
Visitor statistics (only with your consent). If you press "Accept" in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors come from, which device and browser they use. Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) in your browser and receives your IP address and usage data. Legal basis: your consent. If you press "Decline", or do nothing, no analytics script is loaded and nothing is sent to Google. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not use this data to identify you.
You can change your choice at any time: change cookie settings. Declining or withdrawing also removes the analytics cookies we set.
Apart from that, we keep two small pieces of browser storage: one remembers your cookie choice, and a temporary session-only one avoids showing the newsletter pop-up twice in the same visit. Neither is shared with anyone.
Who else sees this data
We use outside services to run the forms and, if you consent, the visitor statistics. The first two act as our data processors - they handle the data on our instructions and don't use it for their own purposes:
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS) - stores newsletter email addresses and sends the newsletter on our behalf.
- Web3Forms - relays product enquiry submissions to our inbox by email.
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited, with Google LLC in the United States) - measures visits, only if you accept the cookie banner. Google may process this data in the United States under its standard contractual safeguards.
We do not sell or otherwise trade your personal data to anyone.
How long we keep it
Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Google Analytics keeps individual-level event data for 2 months, after which only aggregated statistics remain. Enquiry messages are kept only as long as needed to answer your question and for a reasonable period afterwards for our own records, then deleted.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or object to how we use it. To do so, email info@antwerpstudio.com. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
