Size: 123.0 × 73.0 cm A charming and decorative female nude on panel, signed G. Suisse, France, circa 1925. This panel originates from the wall panelling of an Art Nouveau mansion in Northern France. Depicted against a burgundy-red background, the figure features pointillage shading and gilt decorative elements. Set in a gilt wood frame. In very good condition, with auction-house labels attached to the reverse. Attributed to the French artist and decorator Gaston Suisse (1896–1988).
