Rare french low table in forged iron and slate. The top is organically shaped, placed on square iron base. The base shows patina in some areas. Origin: Southern France, early to mid 20th century. Height 38 cm. Length 120 cm. Depth ~54 cm.Slate is a metamorphic rock of sedimentary origin. Is mainly composed of quartz, sericite and minerals of the chlorite group.
