1968 Dutch enamelled steel dish by Richard Braun in beautiful blue and light blue color.

The artist Richard Braun (1921-1988) studied at the City Academy for Applied Arts in Maastricht and then worked as a sculptor, goldsmith and jewelery designer. In addition to his art, Richard Braun was also a teacher at the State Trade and Applied Arts School for Gold and Silversmiths.

Richard Braun has done a lot of work for the Koninklijke Hoogovens steel factory, including this enamel dish, commissioned in 1968 in honor of the 50th anniversary of the company now known as Tata steel. (Source www.verzamelaars.nl)
