A set of four spot lamps designed by René-Jean Caillette for Parscot, France, 1960's.
Made in matte black enamelled metal and brass, these luxurious lamps are fully adjustable with two brass ball joint mechanisms. Beautiful modernistic French design from te 1960's.
René-Jean Caillette (1919-2005) was a French designer known for his sleek, minimalist furniture designs that epitomised mid-century modern aesthetics. He was part of the "Atelier de Recherche Plastique" (ARP) and is particularly celebrated for his use of innovative materials and clean lines, as seen in these lamps he designed for the Parisian lighting firm Parscot.
Condition is very good with charming patina in some areas. Mechanisms and wiring are all in working order.
